Bath Salts and REALLY Good BathsStill working on my glass etching (trying to get good ideas for the glass things I've acquired), but I've also been doing a lot of research lately into bath salts and essential oils. Basically, I've been getting interested in using all natural products to help in my daily life (NOT to replace doctors). Amazingly, there are products naturally found in nature that do a better job around the home or in our bodies than any other manufactured product out there! And the natural products are cheaper, which is good news for a poor newlywed like me!
Bath salts are one of those things that can be really complicated but end up being really helpful when combined with essential oils and herbs. Unfortunately, even though I've researched a LOT, I don't have the money to start making bath salts. But someday when the money is coming in a bit more, I'll be able to start experimenting. If any of you are interested, here are a couple of normal baths (without bath salts) that can be really beneficial for you! Hydrogen Peroxide Bath Benefits: -increases oxygen available to the body -leaves body feeling alert and revitalized -antibacterial, antiviral, and cleansing for emotional and energetic bodies Instructions: -add 6 oz. (14 TBSP) of food grade hydrogen peroxide to a hot bath and soak for 20-30 minutes -be careful handling the peroxide as it can burn or irritate your skin (it's fine for skin contact when diluted in the bath) Apple Cider Vinegar Bath Benefits: -helps restore natural pH level to skin and hair -rejuvenates and builds up body's resistance -helps restore acid mantle protection to skin (which is lost from swimming and routine soap use on your skin) -helps combat "unfriendly" bacteria and fungal overgrowth -helps with bladder and other infections -soothes skin itchiness (like from poison ivy or sunburn) -causes your pores to open and aids in general systemic detox (so it's REALLY good stuff!) Instructions: -use only pure, unprocessed apple cider vinegar -add 2-4 cups to a hot bath I haven't tested the Hydrogen Peroxide bath but I did text the Apple Cider Vinegar one and it's GREAT!!! Seriously, these are both really good options if you're feeling bad and have some time to soak in the tub. Also, I do have another bath recipe (it DOES include bath salts). It mostly helps soothe itchy skin, detoxes your body if you've had radiation or heavy metal exposure, and (if you believe in this sort of thing), helps to cleanse your aura. If you want the recipe, message me and I'll get the recipe to you. |
