When I was diagnosed with Chronic Major Depression, it changed my life. Learning to handle such a difficult disease was hard. My husband encouraged me to work with crafts, something that allowed me to focus on the good in life. Finding the simplicity in the world around me brought unforeseen happiness to my every day life.
It meant so much to me that I decided to make that the focus of my crafts. I create my products in such a way that, although the designs might not jump out at you, they add a quiet sort of beauty to whatever occasion they are for.
My husband is my biggest support and friend. He helps me out, either by going out and getting me more supplies, or by helping with the actual creating process. He also gives good back rubs since cutting out my own stencils gets painful after a while.
Each stencil I use I cut out by hand so that each product is its own version of unique. I try to find intriguing items and add to them by using simple yet elegant designs. My etchings aren't flashy or complicated. It's the simplicity that I want to bring out.
Every item I make is completely customizable. I make sure to pay close attention to what the customer wants and to ask all the right questions. Currently, my shop is only available on Etsy. Perhaps one day it'll make it to a physical shop!
